His first year ever playing football (RB) was his Jr yr. at Hogan High School 2009/10 in vallejo, ca. he had a total of 643 rushing yards, over 800 in total, 83 carries, avg. 15yds per game, and with a total of 15 touchdowns.

Jesse Bethal High 2010/11: Avg. rushing yards 103.2 per game. 13 yards per carry, (all stats not yet available). Marquize has great footwork and speed. He’s a excellent runner, can breakthrough tackles with his strong & quick ability to make players miss.

{Note: He missed two game and the first to game of the season he only had (1) carry (after transferring from Hogan). Marquize demonstrated that he is an impact player 3 games in roll, he totaled 492.2 yards, average 164.3 yards per game, and 14.93 yards per carry. That effort coincided with a 3 game win streak for the team. The team won every time Marquize carried the ball 8 times or more.}

Safety:
Hogan High School 2009/10: At the safety position Marquize was always around the ball after every risle of the play. He had 3 interceptions, one for touchdown, 30 tackles, 9 assist, avg. 5.6 tackles per game, 39 tot, 3 fumble recovery, 4 sacks, and multiples BIG hits. He love both positions, Safety and Running Back. And it is clearly known that he LOVE to hit.

{Note: Marquize is and outstanding defensive player, butJesse Bethal have not updated his D stats.  Marquize had the biggest hits on the team and several interception, one that was a 90 yard pick six.  Also he switch from jersey #8 to #2 in mid season.}
